When our hearts are heavy, our minds are full, and we don’t know what to do next. I’ve had those days too, especially raising my neuro child. But in those moments, I turn to something that has never failed me — two powerful duas.
The first one is:
“La hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi l-Aliyyi l-Azeem”
It means: “There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.”
Whenever I feel weak or frustrated, I say it — sometimes in my heart, sometimes out loud. It reminds me that I don’t have to carry everything alone. Allah is giving me the strength I need, even when I think I have none.
The second one is:
“Hasbuna Allahu wa ni’mal wakeel, ni’mal mawla wa ni’mal naseer”
It means: “Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs, the Best Protector, and the Best Helper.”
I recite this when I feel scared, when things feel out of my control, or when I don’t know what’s coming next. It brings me so much peace.
Sometimes, I even recite these duas over water, blow into it, and give it to my child to drink — or just blow gently on their forehead. I believe, with the mercy of Allah, it helps.
Parent to parent, I just want to tell you — don’t underestimate the power of calling on Allah. These duas have been my safe place on hard days. And insha’Allah, they can bring comfort and strength to you too.

I know the road we walk is not easy. There are days when the world feels heavy, when you feel like your prayers are not being heard, and your heart whispers, “How much longer?”
I have been there. I’ve cried those tears, prayed those late-night duas, and waited.
But let me remind you — Allah never leaves you unseen.
Every tear you shed, every sigh you release, every whisper of dua you make — Allah hears it. He is Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), Ar-Raheem (The Most Compassionate). His love for you is greater than the love of seventy mothers combined.
Miracles are not far away. They happen every day — sometimes in small, quiet ways we don’t notice at first, sometimes in ways that take our breath away. When you think nothing is changing, something is changing in the unseen world, because Allah is Al-Lateef (The Subtle, The Gentle) — He works in ways we cannot see.
So never stop. Never stop making dua. Never stop hoping. Never stop believing. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Dua is the weapon of the believer.” Hold it tight. Recite with your heart, even if your voice trembles.
And when your heart feels weak, say:
“Hasbuna Allahu wa ni’mal wakeel” – Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.
My prayer for you right now:
Ya Allah, shower Your mercy on every parent reading this. Ease their burdens, fill their hearts with peace, guide them to what is best for their children, and make their homes places of light and healing. Ya Allah, grant them patience, strength, and the sweetness of answered duas.
You are not alone in this journey. We are walking it together. And with Allah, we are never walking in darkness.

urdu:
Mere pyare walido,
Hamare dil bhare hue hain, hamare zehan bohat se khayalon se bhar gaye hain, aur kabhi kabhi humein samajh nahi aata ke agla qadam kya ho. Maine bhi wo din dekhe hain, khaaskar jab main apne neuro child ko raise kar rahi thi. Lekin un lamhon mein main hamesha ek aisi cheez ki taraf rujoo karti hoon jo mujhe kabhi fail nahi hui — do bohat taqatwar duas.
Pehli dua:
“La hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi l-Aliyyi l-Azeem”
Is ka matlab hai: “Koi taqat aur koi quwwat nahi siwai Allah ke, jo sabse Buland aur Sabse Azeem hai.”
Jab bhi main kamzor mehsoos karti hoon ya frustrate hoti hoon, main yeh dua padhti hoon — kabhi dil mein, kabhi zor se. Yeh mujhe yaad dilata hai ke mujhe sab kuch akeli nahi uthana. Allah mujhe woh quwwat de raha hota hai, chahe mujhe lage ke mere paas kuch nahi bacha.
Dusri dua:
“Hasbuna Allahu wa ni’mal wakeel, ni’mal mawla wa ni’mal naseer”
Is ka matlab hai: “Allah humein kaafi hai, aur wahi behtareen kaam sambhalne wala, behtareen mawla, aur behtareen madadgar hai.”
Main yeh tab padhti hoon jab mujhe darr lagta hai, jab cheezein mere control se bahar ho jaati hain, ya jab mujhe nahi pata ke agla kya hoga. Yeh mujhe bohat sukoon deta hai.
Kabhi kabhi main yeh duas pani par parh kar uspe phoonk maar deti hoon, aur apne bache ko pilati hoon — ya phir sirf unke maathay par halki si phoonk. Mujhe yaqeen hai ke Allah ke rehm o karam se yeh faida deti hai.
Parent se parent, main sirf itna kehna chahti hoon — Allah ko pukarne ki quwwat ko kabhi kam mat samjho. Yeh duas meri panah rahi hain mushkil dinon mein. Aur insha’Allah, yeh aapko bhi sukoon aur himmat denge.
Main jaanti hoon ke yeh raasta aasan nahi. Aise din aate hain jab duniya bohat bhari lagti hai, jab aapko lagta hai ke aapki duas suni nahi ja rahi, aur aapka dil kehta hai: “Kitni der aur?”
Main wahan bhi rahi hoon. Maine bhi woh aansoo bahae hain, woh raaton ki der tak ki duas ki hain, aur intezaar kiya hai.
Lekin yaad rakho — Allah kabhi aapko nazar andaz nahi karta.
Aapka har aansoo, har saans, har dua ka lafz — Allah sunta hai. Wahi Ar-Rahman (Bohat Meherbaan), Ar-Raheem (Bohat Rehmat Karne Wala) hai. Us ka pyaar 70 maon ke pyaar se zyada hai.
Moajize door nahi hote. Yeh roz hote hain — kabhi chhup kar chhoti chhoti cheezon mein, kabhi aisi tarah ke humein hila dete hain. Jab aapko lage ke kuch badal nahi raha, kuch na kuch ghair mehsoos tor par ho raha hota hai, kyunke Allah Al-Lateef (Bari nazakat se kaam karne wala) hai — jo aise tareeqon se kaam karta hai jo hum nahi dekh sakte.
Is liye kabhi mat ruko. Kabhi dua maangna mat chhodo. Kabhi umeed mat chhodo. Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya: “Dua momin ka hathiyaar hai.” Isay mazbooti se pakad lo. Dil se parho, chahe aawaz kaanp rahi ho.
Aur jab dil kamzor ho, keh do:
“Hasbuna Allahu wa ni’mal wakeel” – Allah humein kaafi hai, aur wahi behtareen kaam sambhalne wala hai.
Meri dua aapke liye:
Ya Allah, har us waleed par apni rehmatein barsa jo yeh padh raha hai. Unke bojh halka kar, unke dil ko sukoon de, unko woh rasta dikha jo unke bachon ke liye behtareen hai, aur unke ghar ko roshni aur shifa ka markaz bana. Ya Allah, unko sabr de, taqat de, aur unki duas ka meetha phal de.
Aap is safar mein akelay nahi. Hum saath chal rahe hain. Aur Allah ke saath, hum kabhi andhere mein nahi chal rahe.
