Our Disney World Packing List (Neuro-Friendly Edition)

Okay, friends—let’s talk about the real packing list. Not just “shorts and sunscreen.” This is the one I wish someone had handed me before we went.

🎒 Park Bag Essentials

  • Noise-canceling headphones – Lifesaver for parades, fireworks, or when the crowd noise hits.
  • Sunglasses + hat – Florida sun is no joke.
  • Small handheld fan or cooling towel – Especially if your kiddo (or you) run warm.
  • Fidget toy or comfort item – Helps with waiting in line or just decompressing.
  • Snacks you know will be eaten – Familiar food = comfort.
  • Refillable water bottle – You can get free ice water at any Disney quick-service spot.
  • Lightweight poncho – Florida rain is sneaky.
  • Mini first-aid kit – Bandaids, motion-sickness tabs, and that lip balm you love.

🧳 Hotel & Downtime Comforts

  • Favorite blanket or pillowcase – Makes the hotel room feel like home.
  • Night light – For unfamiliar hotel rooms.
  • Extra charger cables + power bank – Disney days eat battery life.
  • Travel-size laundry detergent – For mid-trip washing (spills happen).

📄 Important Documents & Extras

  • Passports / IDs – Even if you’re domestic, bring valid photo ID for adults.
  • Disability Access Service (DAS) registration confirmation – If you’ve set this up in advance.
  • Hotel reservation info – Printed and on your phone.
  • Insurance cards – Just in case.
  • A simple “day schedule” card – Helps keep transitions smooth.

If this list takes a little of the stress out of your Disney planning, I’d love to keep helping.
