It’s nighttime, and the house finally gets quiet.
The dishes might still be in the sink, laundry may still be waiting, but for now, the little ones are winding down, and you’re holding onto the last bit of your energy.

Weekends can make bedtime feel like an uphill battle. The temptation to let schedules slide is real — but keeping bedtime consistent is a gift you give your children and yourself. Even on weekends, a steady sleep routine helps our kids feel safe, balanced, and rested. And honestly, it helps us too.

I know you’ve been running since the moment you opened your eyes this morning — maybe even before the sun came up. Some days it feels like you’re doing everything and still not enough. But mama, hear me: you are enough.

You’ve kept little bellies fed, hearts loved, and minds cared for. You’ve answered a thousand questions, given hugs even when you were tired, and held it all together when no one else saw. You are your child’s safe place, their guide, and their biggest cheerleader.

So tonight, as you tuck your child in — whether they’re snuggled next to their favorite stuffed animal or tucked under a weighted blanket — take a moment to breathe. Let them know they are loved, and also remind yourself that you are doing an incredible job.

A Poem for You

You are a lighthouse,
Shining through their storms,
Guiding tiny ships safely home,
With love that always warms.

You are their comfort,
Their laughter and cheer,
The one who stays steady
Year after year.

When the day feels too heavy,
And you think you can’t cope,
Remember — you’re the anchor
And their greatest hope.

So rest now, dear friend,
You’ve done all you can do,
And tomorrow’s a new day
With more love shining through.

Before you close your eyes tonight, remind yourself:
You are enough. You are seen. And to your children, you are a superhero.
